Students must come to school in appropriate public dress. Clothing should fully cover the stomach, back, shoulders, undergarments, and the body from the waist to at least mid-thigh. Hoods must remain down. Pajama pants, slippers, short shorts, crop tops, caps, hats, bonnets, durags, and head scarves are not permitted unless worn for religious purposes. Clothing and accessories may not advertise controlled substances.
Tops: Shirts must fully cover a student's stomach, back, and shoulders and conceal undergarments. Hoodies may be worn with hoods down for identification purposes. Clothing and accessories may not advertise controlled substances.
Bottoms: Pants, shorts, or skirts must fully cover a student from the waist to at least mid-thigh.
Notes: Pajama pants, slippers, short shorts, crop tops, caps, hats, bonnets, durags, and head scarves (unless for religious purposes) should not be worn.
Student IDs and Bags: With student safety as our primary concern, the following practices are in place to enhance security features. All students must wear their school ID badge to enter the building. Backpacks and large bags are not permitted during the school day. Students may carry a small purse, pencil bag, or small lunch bag.
