Memorial Middle School will represent Region 7 and the State of Oklahoma at the SeaPerch International Challenge on June 4 at the University of Maryland in the Washington D.C. area. The team is trying to raise money for the trip and if you would like to help, please call 918-833-9520.
The SeaPerch Program is an innovative underwater robotics program that equips teachers and students with the resources they need to build an underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV). SeaPerch provides students with the opportunity to learn about robotics, engineering, science, and mathematics while learning problem-solving skills and teamwork. In competition, students operate their SeaPerch through an underwater obstacle course and a retrieval mission.
